DID Press: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it launched fresh missile and drone attacks against three US military installations in Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, describing the strikes as retaliation for what it called overnight US attacks on Iran’s southern cities and coastline.

According to an IRGC statement, the eighth wave of Operation Nasr 2 targeted a C-RAM early-warning radar and an area used by US personnel at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. The IRGC described the operation as a response to “last night’s US aggression” and urged Kuwait to remove foreign forces to safeguard its national security.
In Bahrain, local media reported at least ten explosions near Naval Support Activity Bahrain in Juffair, home to the US Fifth Fleet. Iraqi media also claimed that some US interceptor missiles fell inside Bahrain and that Iranian drones struck military facilities. These claims have not been independently verified.
Separately, the Iranian Army said the ninth phase of Operation Saeqeh targeted communications systems, fuel storage facilities and a fixed radar site at Azraq Air Base in Jordan using attack drones. Tehran described the operation as retaliation for alleged US strikes on the Bampur military base near Iranshahr, which it said killed seven Iranian soldiers.
Jordanian media reported explosions and the activation of air raid sirens near Azraq Air Base, while in southern Saudi Arabia, authorities reportedly extended the closure of Abha International Airport following attacks by Yemeni forces.
In a separate development, the IRGC claimed it had intercepted and destroyed a US MQ-9 Reaper drone over Andimeshk in southwestern Iran.
The latest exchange comes amid intensifying military confrontation between Iran and the United States, with repeated strikes and counterstrikes raising concerns over a broader regional conflict. Several of the battlefield claims made by the parties have not been independently verified.
