Uzbekistan to Host Second Termez Dialogue on Regional Connectivity

DID Press: Uzbekistan will host the second Termez Dialogue on Connectivity between Central and South Asia in the city of Termez within the next two days under the theme “Peace, Connectivity and Prosperity: Building a Common Space for Shared Well-Being.”

The three-day event is scheduled to take place from (June 4 to 6) and is expected to bring together government officials, representatives of international organizations, and experts from Afghanistan, Central and South Asia, Europe, and other regions.

According to organizers, discussions will focus on strengthening regional connectivity, addressing security challenges, responding to climate change, and expanding cooperation with Afghanistan.

Participants are also expected to visit the International Trade Center of Airitom, the Termez Cargo Logistics Center, and several historical and cultural sites in the city as part of the event’s program.

The dialogue is expected to conclude with the adoption of a joint declaration aimed at promoting mutual trust, expanding constructive cooperation, and advancing sustainable connectivity between Central and South Asia.
