Ariana Afghan Airlines Expands Kabul–New Delhi Service to Daily Flights

DID Press: Afghanistan’s national carrier, Ariana Afghan Airlines, has increased its direct flights between Kabul and New Delhi from one flight per week to seven flights per week, making the route a daily service.

According to the airline, the expansion was introduced in response to growing travel demand and increasing economic cooperation between Afghanistan and India.

Company officials stated that passengers previously had access to only one weekly flight on the route, but can now travel between the two capitals every day.

The airline said the move will not only facilitate passenger travel but also provide greater opportunities for businesspeople and traders engaged in cross-border commerce.

Ariana Afghan further noted that the expansion of cargo operations alongside passenger services has accelerated the movement of goods between Afghanistan and India, helping support imports, exports, and broader commercial activity.

Officials believe that increasing direct air connectivity will reduce transportation time and logistics costs while strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
