DID Press: Afghanistan’s national U-18 and U-20 handball teams have departed for Bangladesh to compete in the South Asia Challenge Cup.
The 34-member delegation, comprising players and coaching staff, left on Tuesday to participate in the regional tournament, which is expected to feature teams from nearly 10 South Asian countries.
Officials from the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee expressed confidence that the young Afghan athletes will gain valuable international experience and represent the country with distinction.
