Pakistan Reports Deal on Stranded Trucks, Taliban Yet to Confirm
DID Press: Pakistani media have reported that an agreement has been reached to facilitate the return of Pakistani trucks stranded in Afghanistan, although the arrangement has not yet been officially confirmed by Taliban authorities.

According to the reports, the understanding was reached following a meeting between Hafiz Mohibullah and local officials in Peshawar.
The reported agreement would allow Pakistani trucks that remained in Afghanistan after the closure of the Torkham Border Crossing last year to return to Pakistan.
The Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce has said that approximately 1,500 vehicles could be affected by the decision.
While reports indicate that the return process could begin on Thursday, no official statement has yet been issued by authorities in Kabul confirming the agreement or providing a definitive implementation timeline.
The Torkham crossing remains one of the most important trade and transit routes between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and disruptions at the border have repeatedly affected commercial activity and regional supply chains.
