Afghanistan to Convene Central Asia–Azerbaijan Strategic Dialogue in Kabul
DID Press: Taliban’s Foreign Ministry has announced that Kabul will host a high-level regional meeting on Tuesday bringing together heads and representatives of strategic research centers, political advisers, and scholars from across Central Asia and Azerbaijan.

According to the ministry, participants from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan will attend discussions focused on expanding regional cooperation and strengthening economic ties.
The agenda is expected to center on regional connectivity, stability, trade, energy cooperation, transit corridors, investment opportunities, and broader economic integration among participating countries.
Officials say the meeting will also review the current state of Afghanistan’s cooperation with Central Asian states and present practical proposals to enhance regional collaboration.
The conference will open with remarks from Taliban’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who is expected to outline Kabul’s vision for a foreign policy based on economic cooperation and balanced regional engagement.
The gathering comes as Afghanistan seeks to expand formal diplomatic and economic relations with neighboring and regional countries amid shifting geopolitical dynamics.
