Muttaqi Stresses Expansion of Development Projects, UN Cooperation
DID Press: The foreign ministry of the Taliban-led administration said that Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held talks with Bruno Lemarquis, focusing on humanitarian assistance and development cooperation with the United Nations.

According to the statement, Lemarquis presented his views on improving the delivery and management of humanitarian aid in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Muttaqi emphasized the need for continued humanitarian assistance, while also stressing the importance of implementing development and infrastructure projects across the country. He said the authorities would continue cooperation with the United Nations in these areas.
The foreign ministry added that Lemarquis expressed appreciation for the meeting and pledged to fully utilize his mandate to support humanitarian efforts. He also underscored the importance of expanding engagement and cooperation in various sectors.
The discussion comes amid ongoing international efforts to balance emergency aid delivery with long-term development needs in Afghanistan.
