India Strengthens Maritime Shield Against China-Pakistan Axis

DID Press: India is accelerating the development of its multi-layered maritime defense network in response to expanding naval cooperation between China and Pakistan, with a growing focus on advanced anti-submarine drones and autonomous surveillance systems.

Amid deepening defense collaboration between Beijing and Islamabad in the maritime domain, New Delhi has intensified efforts to strengthen its naval monitoring and defense capabilities across the Indian Ocean.

Indian media reports indicate that the country is prioritizing the expansion of a layered maritime security architecture aimed at improving the detection and tracking of underwater threats.

As part of the initiative, the Indian Navy is moving forward with the deployment of advanced anti-submarine unmanned systems and next-generation surveillance drones capable of conducting reconnaissance, tracking, and intelligence-gathering missions.

Military analysts say Pakistan’s expanding submarine fleet, supported by China, along with Beijing’s increasing naval presence in the region, has prompted India to place greater emphasis on emerging maritime warfare technologies and intelligent defense systems.

New Delhi is also investing in the modernization of its anti-submarine warfare capabilities and the expansion of surveillance infrastructure across strategically important areas of the Indian Ocean.
