Taliban Condemn Pakistani Airstrikes as ‘Crime’ and ‘Aggression’
DID Press: Taliban administration has strongly condemned Pakistani airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan, describing the attacks as a “crime,” an act of “aggression,” and a violation of the country’s sovereignty.

Zabihullah Mujahid, chief spokesman for the Taliban government, said Pakistani military aircraft bombed residential areas overnight in Gayan district of Paktika Province, Chamkani district of Paktia Province, and Manogai district of Kunar Province.
According to Mujahid, dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed or injured in the strikes. He described the attacks as a “cowardly act,” a “brutal crime,” and an unacceptable breach of Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s information minister, said the operation was intelligence-based and targeted alleged militant hideouts in border regions. He claimed that three locations in Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces were struck and that 29 militants were killed during the operation.
Islamabad has repeatedly linked such cross-border operations to its campaign against militant groups it accuses of carrying out attacks inside Pakistan.
The latest exchange underscores continuing tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan over security, border management, and accusations regarding the presence of armed groups operating along the frontier.
