Taliban Claims Airstrikes on ISIS Targets Inside Pakistan
DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Defense has claimed that its air force carried out strikes on facilities linked to ISIS and anti-Taliban groups in Pakistan’s provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday evening.

In a statement, the ministry said the targeted locations were allegedly being used to plan sabotage operations and organize attacks inside Afghanistan.
According to the Taliban, one strike targeted a joint facility in the Saranan area of Pishin district in Balochistan. Two additional strikes were reportedly conducted against an ISIS-linked site in the Qambarkhel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and another joint position in Garm Chashma, located in the Shah Salim Valley of Chitral.
The ministry claimed that preliminary assessments indicated heavy casualties and significant material losses among ISIS members and anti-Taliban militants. It also asserted that the operation caused no civilian casualties.
The reported strikes come amid heightened tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan following recent Pakistani air operations in eastern Afghanistan and ongoing border security disputes between the two neighboring countries.
No independent verification of the Taliban’s claims has yet been made, and Pakistani authorities had not issued an immediate response at the time of publication.
