DID Press: Türkiye’s state broadcaster TRT has described the funeral ceremony for Iran’s Martyr leader of Islamic Revolution as one of the largest public gatherings in the country’s recent history, portraying the event as a display of national strength and political unity.

According to the report, millions of people gathered in Tehran as the multi-day funeral ceremonies began, with participation expected to reach between 15 and 20 million over the three-day event in the capital.
TRT said the ceremony has evolved beyond a mourning event into a demonstration of Iran’s political and social cohesion in the face of the United States and Israel.
The broadcaster also highlighted the large crowds at Tehran’s Mosalla, the display of red flags symbolizing revenge, and the chanting of various slogans, describing them as signs of broad public mobilization and support.
The report further noted extensive security measures, airspace controls, and the attendance of foreign officials, saying these elements have added regional and international significance to the ceremonies.
