Taliban Claim Closure of Hundreds of Christian Centers

DID Press: Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, the Taliban’s Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, said the group has shut down hundreds of centers involved in promoting Christianity since returning to power in Afghanistan.

Speaking during a meeting with religious scholars and tribal elders, Hanafi described the closures as part of the Taliban administration’s religious policies.
