DID Press: The holy city of Qom witnessed a large-scale public funeral ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, with thousands of people, religious scholars, officials and visitors gathering to pay tribute.

Participants carrying mourning flags and banners joined the procession, chanting slogans and expressing support for continuing the political and ideological path associated with the martyred leader. Streets leading toward the procession route, including the Jamkaran Mosque and the shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masumeh, were filled with mourners.
Qom, one of Iran’s most important religious centers, became the scene of a major public gathering as mourners expressed grief and emphasized their commitment to the values and principles promoted by the martyred leader.
The ceremony was held under the coordination of responsible authorities, with officials describing the large turnout as one of the significant public events in the recent history of the holy city.
