DID Press: Iranian military fighter jets flew over Mashhad during the funeral procession for the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khameneie as part of security measures and a ceremonial tribute to the event.

According to reports, two MiG-29 fighter aircraft conducted low-altitude flights above the main routes leading to the Imam Reza Holy Shrine, where large crowds had gathered for the funeral ceremony.
The flights were carried out as part of aerial security operations aimed at protecting the procession and ensuring the safety of participants attending the event.
The funeral is being attended by large numbers of mourners in Mashhad, while Iranian military and law enforcement forces have implemented extensive security measures to safeguard the ceremony.
