Tamadon TV Calls for Immediate Release of Detained Manager and Employee
DID Press: Tamadon TV has called for the immediate release of its Managing Director, Mohammad Rahmati, and staff member Mohammad Reza Ehsani, saying both have been held by the Taliban for six days without a court order or formal charges.

In a statement, Tamadon TV urged the relevant authorities to end the detention and release the two employees without delay.
The broadcaster also expressed concern over Rahmati’s health condition, stating that his physical condition is not compatible with prolonged detention. The network warned that any deterioration in his health would be the direct responsibility of the authority that ordered his arrest without a judicial ruling.
The statement comes amid growing concerns over media freedom and the treatment of journalists and media workers in Afghanistan following recent actions against the television network.
