DID Press: Three members of a Pakistani security forces bomb disposal unit were killed and four others injured after their team came under attack in Mohmand tribal district on Wednesday, according to local reports.
The attack occurred in the Mamad Gat area, located along the border between the Mohmand and Bajaur districts.No group has claimed responsibility for the assault.
However, security sources suspect militants linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, both of which are believed to be active in the Mohmand region bordering Afghanistan, were behind the attack.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while security operations in the area remain ongoing.
