US Congressman: Iran War Has Weakened America

DID Press: US Congressman Thomas Massie has said the Trump administration’s war with Iran has significantly weakened the United States, arguing that the conflict has strained the country’s military capabilities and economic stability.

In a post on X, Massie wrote: “America has been significantly weakened because of the war with Iran.”

According to the Republican lawmaker, the conflict has reduced U.S. missile defense capabilities, depleted strategic oil reserves, increased national debt, driven up consumer prices, and diverted attention from pressing domestic priorities.

Massie’s remarks come amid continuing political debate in Washington over the costs and long-term consequences of the conflict with Iran.
