Afghanistan Launches Boxing Coaching and Refereeing Seminar
DID Press: A two-day boxing coaching and refereeing seminar has opened in Kabul, bringing together 60 coaches and referees from the capital and several provinces to strengthen technical standards and improve the quality of officiating and coaching in the sport.

The training program is designed to enhance participants’ technical knowledge, update their professional skills, and standardize refereeing and coaching practices in Afghan boxing.
During the seminar, participants are receiving instruction on the latest refereeing standards, modern coaching methods, and updated international boxing regulations.
Organizers said the initiative aims to improve the quality of officiating at competitions, strengthen the capabilities of boxing coaches, and support the long-term development of the sport across Afghanistan.
Sports officials expressed hope that similar programs will help produce more qualified coaches and referees while promoting higher-standard boxing competitions nationwide.
