The opening ceremony was attended by religious scholars, cultural figures, academics, social activists, photographers, and media representatives from Herat.
Organizers said the exhibition aims to present an artistic and media portrayal of an event related to Iran through the visual narratives captured by Afghan photographers and journalists.
The exhibition displays a collection of photographs documenting the perspectives of Afghan media professionals and photographers, while providing a platform to discuss the role of visual storytelling in covering regional events.
On the sidelines of the event, photographers and media activists shared their experiences in documenting events through images and highlighted the importance of photography as a tool for recording contemporary history.
