Israel Channel 14: Egypt ‘Erased Israel’ From Map

DID Press: Israel Channel 14 report said Egyptian news website Cairo24 published a map showing the name “Palestine” in northeastern Egypt in connection with the country’s new secondary-school diploma system, while making no reference to Israel.

The Israeli outlet described the publication of the map as notable given Egypt’s diplomatic relations and 1979 peace treaty with Israel, and called for a response from Israeli authorities.
