Russia and India Discuss Afghanistan, Ukraine and Iran
DID Press: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar discussed developments in Afghanistan, Ukraine and Iran during a meeting in Moscow, reviewing their countries’ approaches to major regional and international issues.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination within the United Nations, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, BRICS and G20.
They also agreed to strengthen trust-based dialogue at all levels, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Jaishankar traveled to Russia to attend a meeting of the Russia-India Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
