DID Press: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with US chargé d’affaires in Islamabad after returning from Iran, with the two sides discussing peace, regional security developments and ways to expand bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also covered training programs for Pakistan’s police forces, according to a statement on the talks.
Naqvi had traveled to Iran as part of a high-level Pakistani delegation led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces. The delegation held talks with senior Iranian officials during the visit.
