Israeli Attacks on Gaza Leave More Than 1,300 Palestinians Dead

DID Press: Palestinian health authorities say at least 1,359 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire that took effect last year, while 4,571 others have been injured.

The figures, reported by Palestinian medical sources, cover casualties recorded since the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 11, 2025. Gaza health authorities said 1,359 Palestinians had been killed and 4,571 injured as of September 10.

According to reports, Israeli forces have continued carrying out attacks in several areas of the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement, including Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah, Rafah, Gaza City and northern parts of the enclave.

Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire in October last year with U.S. mediation. However, Israeli military operations in Gaza have continued since the agreement, resulting in further Palestinian casualties.

The United Nations has also reported continued killings in Gaza since the ceasefire. The UN human rights office said in September that Palestinians continued to be killed in Israeli attacks despite the ceasefire, while stressing that Israel remains bound by international humanitarian and human rights law.
