The Afghanistan U19 squad will be based in Oman from October 13 to 30, where it will play five matches against Bangladesh U19 and two against Oman U19. The five-match series against Bangladesh is scheduled for October 13, 15, 18, 20 and 23, followed by matches against Oman on October 27 and 30.
The matches are intended to provide the young Afghan players with an opportunity to assess their form, improve team coordination and finalize preparations for the continental competition, which is scheduled to begin in early November.
