DID Press: Algerian media figure Yahya Abu Zakariya has accused Al Jazeera of contributing to the targeting and killing of prominent leaders of Palestinian resistance groups and Lebanon’s Hezbollah by broadcasting reports, images and interviews that he says exposed fighters’ locations and tunnel networks to their adversaries.

In a post on X, Abu Zakariya alleged that such media coverage helped reveal sensitive information, arguing that the leaders were targeted not through direct security operations alone, but also through the exposure of their whereabouts and underground infrastructure.
He said he had previously addressed the issue in articles and television programmes and called on Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups to review possible security breaches dating back to the 2008 assassination of Hezbollah military commander Imad Mughniyeh in Damascus.
