DID Press: Airlines have relocated a large proportion of their aircraft from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh following escalating attacks by Yemeni forces on Saudi Arabia.

According to flight-tracking data, the number of aircraft at the airport fell from 134 to 38 by midday Wednesday, indicating that more than 70% of the aircraft previously stationed there had been moved elsewhere.
Reuters has also reported that Riyadh’s international airport is scheduled to remain closed until October 17, following recent attacks. Several international airlines have cancelled or suspended flights to Saudi Arabia amid heightened security concerns.
