Afghan Electronic ID Cards Ready for Collection in Mashhad

DID Press: Consulate General of Afghanistan in Mashhad has announced arrangements for applicants to collect their electronic national identity cards (e-Tazkiras).

In a new notice, the consulate asked applicants to visit the identity verification centre according to the announced schedule and bring their original registration receipts to collect their identity documents.

According to the notice, applicants who previously registered for an electronic Tazkira, completed the administrative procedures and had their names included in earlier lists may visit the centre from Saturday to Wednesday during official working hours.

The identity verification centre is located at No. 48, in the building adjacent to the Afghan Consulate in Mashhad. Presenting the original registration receipt is mandatory for collecting the cards.

The consulate also said that one family member may collect electronic Tazkiras on behalf of other family members. However, the issuance of new electronic Tazkiras is currently unavailable at the consulate.
