DID Press: Arab electoral lists celebrated at their headquarters after achieving an unprecedented result in elections in the occupied territories, chanting “Ben Gvir, get out!” in protest against the policies of Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s National Security Minister.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Arab lists secured a combined total of 18 seats in the latest election, marking a historic milestone.
The result strengthens the representation of Arab lawmakers in the Israeli parliament, while the protesters’ chants reflect continued opposition within the Arab community to Ben Gvir’s policies.
