Taliban to Introduce Digital Document System at Mines Ministry

DID Press: Taliban-run Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced the launch of the implementation process for a Digital Letter and Document Management System (DLMS) at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

According to a statement from the ministry, the system is expected to speed up administrative procedures, increase transparency and improve the protection of official documents.

Preventing document forgery and fraud, as well as improving the management of official correspondence, are also among the system’s main objectives, the statement said.

Officials from the Taliban-run Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said the system would be gradually introduced across government departments. Technical support would also continue to ensure its effective use.
