Kandahar and Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province Seek to Expand Trade and Investment

DID Press: Kamaluddin Towhid, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, met with Jamshidi, deputy economic governor of Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province, to discuss expanding trade and economic relations, particularly between Afghanistan’s Kandahar Province and Razavi Khorasan.

According to a statement from the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, the two sides also discussed opportunities for joint investment in the precious stones sector and product processing.

During the meeting, Towhid invited an economic delegation from Razavi Khorasan to visit Kandahar to explore opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two sides.
