Provincial Security officials said a French woman, member of ISIL was arrested in the operation of security forces last night (March 23) from Darzab district of Jawzjan province.
“The operation carried out in “Sardara” area of Darzab district. Six fighters of the group were killed and some of their weapons destroyed during the operation,” said Mohammad Hanif Rezayee, the spokesperson of 209 Shaheen corps.
“Some documents and electrical appliances also fell to the security forces,” Rezayee added.
It is noteworthy that a German citizen – a member of the Taliban terror group – was previously detained in Greshk district of Helmand province.
