30 killed and wounded as a result of an explosion at a voter registration center in Afghanistan northern Baghlan’s Pul-e Khumri city, say eyewitnesses.
The explosives were embedded inside local “Kohna Masjid” mosque in Khaja Alwan area, killing and wounding 30 people.

According to eyewitnesses, the people gathered inside the mosque for ritual ceremonies when the explosion took place.
It is said that the mosque has been used as a voter registration center too.

“Only five of my family members were killed in this incident and two of my neighbors also lost their lives in the blast,” one of the eyewitnesses told DID press agency.
Provincial Police headquarter spokesperson Zabihullah Shoja said our team is on the way to the area.

This comes as 5 people lost their lives and 4 others wounded as a result of an explosion near an election center in Baghlan province.
This is the seventh attack on the election centers.
