Pedram to Hekmatyar: You Insult our Shiite Brothers to Apple-Polish Israel, US
In response to recent statements of Hekmatyar in Logar province, Latif Pedram, an MP and the chairman of National Congress party said that Hekmatyar is insulting our Shia brothers to serve US and Israel well.

Latif Pedram had previously posed the issue to change the name of Afghanistan to Khorasan, and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has recently reacted against it, saying “some people shamelessly say they do not accept the name of Afghanistan”.
Now, Pedram on his official Facebook page wrote to Hekmatyar: “dear brother, here is Khorasan – here speaking is not easy!”
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar had said in a statement in Logar province: “some shamelessly say we do not accept the name of Afghanistan, they say to change the name of Afghanistan to Khorasan, Khorasan is one of the provinces of Iran. There is no one to silence him that who you are and who gave you such qualification”.
On the other hand, Latif Pedram in response wrote: “Mr Hekmatyar! I heard your despair, shameless and complete slanderous words in Chahar Asiab, I wanted to say that when you escaped from the Taliban fear to jabal Saraj district, they were the Khorasanis, who rescued you and transferred you to Tajikistan – one of the territories of Khorasan – although you were an old enemy, then, gave a plane to seek refuge in Iran. But you are shameless that said those who saved you wanted to kill you while everyone witnesses that you were like an ant in his palm. But he was the brave leader of Khorasan and Islam who behaved with his enemy and his people like Khorasanis and even did not quip you”.
The statement continued: “the Iranians, who sheltered you, heard your taboo words as well. You did not even behave like your “Afghan” tradition. all know that your taboo words against Iran and our Shia citizens is for the sake of service to America and Israel not for the sake of Allah and people”.
After the presidential palace ignored the opposition of people on inserting the word “Afghan” in new E-ID cards, the issue of renaming the country became hot and a large number of people wants to rename Afghanistan to Khorasan.
