No Danger Threatening Election in Faryab: Governor

Afghanistan northern Faryab governor Naqibullah Fayiq said that no danger is threatening the 20 October election.


Afghanistan northern Faryab governor Naqibullah Fayiq said that no danger is threatening the 20 October election.
“In the past, the danger of the fall of this province eminent by the armed oppositions, but now the threat has been resolved,” Faryab governor said. “the people in the province can have a massive and safe presence in the upcoming election,” Mr Fayiq told DID press agency.

According to him, coordination between the security forces and the popular uprising have been made which can ensure the security in the province.
“after 15 years, local government has gained momentum and no armed bully can threaten the people,” Fayiq underlined.

Mr Fayiq had been appointed as Faryab governor when fans of Junbish party protested and set on fire many government agencies, including the provincial building over the detention of Nizamuddin Qaisari.
