In response to an incident in central Ghor province, the senior member of the Grand National Coalition Ata M. Noor said in a statement that government does not have the ability to fight against a few terrorists riding bikes, but takes the lives of people to suppress a local commander.
“the gap between the people and the government is getting bigger every day. I will defend the rights of oppressed people in every corner of Afghanistan,” Mr Noor emphasised.

On Saturday, the government’s special forces wanted to arrest commander Alipoor – a local commander – in Ghor’s Lal wa Sarjangle district, where a number of citizens lost their lives during clashes.
“Regrettably, I was informed that about twenty of my fellow countrymen in the Lal and Sarjangal districts of Ghor province were martyred and wounded as the special forces organized an attack on one of the local commanders,” Mr Noor said in the statement. “a government that does not have the capacity to counter a few terrorists, takes the lives and tranquility of the people in order to suppress a local commander. But support some criminals, who do not hesitate to commit crimes here in northern Baghlan and Balkh provinces,” he added.

While expressing my extreme disgust at these hegemonic approaches, I emphasise that by using these methods, the distance between the government and the people will get wider; so that the domains of governance will collapse and the people will lose hope from such a rule.
