Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai will possibly support M. Hanif Atmar in the new round of presidential election, a source told DID Press Agency.

Afghanistan’s upcoming presidential election is scheduled to be held on 20 April 2019.
“Mr. Karzai is expected to meet and discuss with Hanif Atmar soon,” the source added.
These days, sources say that Mohammad Mohaqiq and Yunis Qanuni may be the vice presidents of the former National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar in the upcoming presidential election.
However, sources close to Mr. Atmar say that he will be one of the candidates of the presidential election.
