Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Sayed Abbas Araghchi arrived in capital Kabul on Saturday morning to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Sayed Abbas Araghchi arrived in capital Kabul on Saturday morning to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
According to reports, Mr Araghchi is scheduled to hold separate talks with president M. Ashraf Ghani, chief executive officer Abdullah Abdullah and his counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister will discuss peace talks with Afghan officials.
The visit comes as the Iran’s national security adviser Ali Shamkhani had previously came to Kabul and met Afghan officials and later Taliban delegation traveled to Tehran as well.
