Afghanistan national cricket team wins over Zimbabwe

Afghanistan and Zimbabwe are playing a series of 5 ODI matches in Harare Zimbabwe. The first match of the series ended with the victory of Afghanistan National Cricket team.

Skipper Asghar Stanikzai won the toss and elected to Bat first. The team gave a target of 216 runs in 49,2 overs to Zimbabwe. The best scorers are; Asghar Stanikzai with 50, Noor Ali Zadran 39, Rahmat Shah 31 and Rashid Khan 31.

Zimbabwe scored 99 runs in 27.2 overs. Match stopped due to rain and according to the ICC D/L system, Afghanistan claimed the victory.
