Ashraf Ghani Invited to Pakistan

President M. Ashraf Ghani spoke with Pakistani PM Imran Khan about the peace process and bilateral relations late Sunday. Pakistani PM invited Ashraf Ghani to visit his country.
According to a statement released by Arg, the Pakistani PM said, during the call, that his country is ready to ensure peace in Afghanistan.
“I agree with the economic-centered thoughts of the Afghan president and this issue needs to be reviewed by the expert delegation of the two countries,” PM Khan said.
Imran Khan also invited president Ghani to Pakistan in order to expand bilateral relations.
Ashraf Ghani also appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation about the peace in Afghanistan.
“Pakistan’s new thinking about the economy and regional transit is desired by Afghanistan as well,” president Ghani said.
This comes as about one month ago, Pakistani PM’s remarks about the Afghan peace process received harsh reactions of Kabul.
