Blast in Kabul Kills 5 People

At least five civilians were killed and 11 more were injured in an explosion on Maiwand road on Tuesday afternoon, Kabul police confirmed.

Kabul police spokesman Ferdaws Faramars confirmed that the explosion took place in PD-1, Maiwand road, at around 02:50 pm.

The nature of the explosion is not yet known, but investigations are underway, the spokesman added.
No individual or group claimed responsibility yet.
