Blast in Nangarhar Kills 2 Wounds at least 28

At least 2 civilians were killed and 28 others were injured in an explosion on Monday morning in Ghani Khel district of eastern Nangarhar province, said local department of information and culture.

The blast took place in Shirgar market of Ghani Khel district, according to the department.
The provincial department of information and culture said the blast was due to a magnetic mine targeting the vehicle of the head of the district health department.

The wounded have been transferred to the provincial hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility so far.
