The prime minister was asked on the “Andrew Marr” Show what was the “brutal” advice that Trump had referred to in their joint press conference outside the prime minister’s Chequers country retreat. According to the Guardian.
Revealing it for the first time, May said: “He told me I should sue the EU.” However, she indicated she had disregarded the advice: “Actually we’re going into negotiations with them.”
