CEO Abdullah to Attend NATO Summit

According to the statement, the CEO Abdullah met with senior NATO civilian representative Cornelius Zimmermann on Sunday.
Mr. Zimmerman on behalf of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has invited Mr. Abdullah to attend NATO Summit scheduled for 12 July.
“The Chief Executive Officer thanked NATO’s cooperation with Afghanistan and the armed forces of the country, and assured his participation in the NATO Summit on behalf of the NUG,” the statement added.
NATO leaders are expected to decide on continuing their presence in Afghanistan, funding, equipping and training Afghanistan national security forces.
