Religious scholars and civil activists condemned insurgency thinking, saying that suicide bombing is condemned from the Islam point of view and such thoughts have no place in Islam religion.
Haji Mohammad Abda, the representative of Balkh province at the parliament underlined “we should not let such attacks take place to turn the solidarity of Afghan people to division”.
“Taliban are supported by some circles to take the lives of people,” he said.
On the other hand, Sayed M. Yazdan Parast, a member of the civil institution union in Balkh province condemned the suicide attack on cleric gathering as well.
“Scaremongers do not believe in any religion or principles,” Yazdan Parast added.
A suicide attack took place on clerics major gathering in Kabul on Monday 4 May which claimed the lives of 14 people and wounded 17.
