Crossroad named for Journalists in Mazar-e Sharif

“The work of journalists in the field of communication over the past 17 years is an undeniable fact, and all people are grateful to their work,” said M. Ishaq Rahgozar, the governor of Balkh, during a ceremony held Monday to mark the journalist day.

According to him, the year 2018 was the deadliest year for journalists as 18 journalists were killed and over 20 more were injured.
“The mission of journalists has always been appreciated by us because these are the journalists, who inform the people about the realities of the society,” he added.
