Some part of the presidential palace (ARG) and the Defence Ministry came under rocket attack last week.
The Interior Ministry has confirmed the cooperation of these two terrorist networks during the attack on the presidential headquarter, saying that a committee has been formed led by the deputy head of the NDS to investigate the incident.
Despite intense security measures, the attackers – having heavy and light weapons – fought with the security forces for hours a few steps away from the presidential palace.
However, a security source said that the committee will interrogate some of the Interior Ministry officers who had failed or neglected to prevent the attack.
