Dr Abdullah to Leave for Iran in three days

The head of the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) Abdullah Abdullah will visit Iran next week.
According to sources, Abdullah Abdullah is scheduled to visit Tehran on October 18 to discuss peace process with the Iranian dignitaries.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Abdullah will travel to Tehran at the head of a delegation comprising officials from the HCNR, members of the Afghan National Assembly and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the three-day visit, Mr Abdullah will hold talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and other high-ranking Iranian officials.

The visit from Iran comes as Dr Abdullah had previously traveled to Pakistan and India, where he discussed peace efforts with officials from both countries.
