Marking the 23rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Abdul Ali Mazarion Friday, the second deputy to the executive directorate Mohammad Mohaqiq said he had offered Hazarajat’s security plan to the government and the president should include it in the next year’s security plan.
Commemorating the memoirs of martyr Abdul Ali Mazari, Mohaqiq described Mazari’s ambitions as the sole source of the participation of all ethnics of Afghanistan in politics saying: “the people of Afghanistan should accept the ethnical identity of each other which was the aspiration of Abdul Ali Mazari and should respect the individual equality; because this is the only way that leads us toward unity and solidarity as well as cutting the hands of foreign interferers.”
“Martyr Abdul Ali Mazari’s struggle was that all ethnics of Afghanistan should enjoy the same citizenship rights as well as have a role in the important decision of the country. Bonn summit fulfilled it to some extent but still the national participation of all ethics has not yet achieved in the country,” Mr. Mohaqiq added.
The second deputy to the executive directorate further said the security plan of Hazarajat has not yet confirmed by the president due to unknown reasons and asked the government to implement the security plan in the upcoming year.
“The NUG has begun some projects in the fields of infrastructure, economy, and development but we are demanding the construction of east-west and north-south roads which it will connect many Hazarajat regions and will take Hazara people out of the fence,” Mohaqiq continued.
Mohammad Mohaqiq also said the first Vice President General Abdul Rashid Dostum should return to Afghanistan because he is representing a particular ethnicity in the country, and foreigners should not interfere in this matter.
The chief executive Abdullah Abdullah, who attended the ceremony said Abdul Ali Mazari fought for the citizenship of Hazara people, adding that “Abdul Ali Mazari fought, so that no one claim superiority over another.”
Encouraging the people to go the polls in the upcoming election, Abdullah said Martyr Mazari advised people to believe in democracy and people’s vote and the people of Afghanistan should prove that their votes would not be ignored by going to the polls.
The first Vice President General Dostum also spoke about Abdul Ali Mazari’s struggles, saying his only goal was to get his people’s right and to eliminate the humiliation under the pretext of ethnicity and religion.
“Today, the rights of ethnics trampled in Afghanistan and the country is on the verge of a crisis. We should look for ways to overcome the war and insecurity which is the aspiration of all martyrs in the country,” he added.
Addressing the ceremony, the Jihadi leader Sebghatullah Mujaddadi reminded of his memoirs with Abdul Ali Mazari.
“Anyone who is a leader or is in power, should not see people based on their color and other characteristics; they should see everyone equally,” Mujaddedi said.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Wali Massoud described Abdul Ali Mazari as the model of justice in Afghanistan.
“The government is seeking division among the ethnics of Afghanistan and this division is reached in every house of the people of Afghanistan,” said Ahmad Wali Massoud, the brother of country’s national hero.
The 23rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Abdul Ali Mazari commemorated in the country while a suicide bomber detonated his explosives 300 meters away from the ceremony, killing 10 people and injuring more than 22 others.
