Families of Afghan-Turk Students Protest over Management Changes in Mazar-e Sharif

The families of Afghan-Turk students insist that if the Turkish government is interested in working with Afghanistan, it should focus on other schools in the country.
Nelofar Sayyar and Mohammad Yaqub are the families of Afghan-Turk students.
“As a parent, I have contacts with this institution for thirteen years and my four children have studied in this high school (Afghan-Turk). We ow to those who served us. Other schools should be elected and compete with these schools.” Nelofar said.
Meanwhile, students and teachers of Afghan-Turk schools claim that the Ministry’s delegation entered this educational place with gunmen to change its management.
The students criticized the government’s decision to hand over the management of Afghan-Turk schools to the Turkish government.
On the other hand, the ministry of education in Balkh province say the government of Afghanistan agreed with the Turkish government to hand over the management of all Afghan-Turk schools to Turkish education department.
According to the education department in Balkh, there are now more than five hundred male and female students studying in the two Afghan-Turk schools in the province.
The other day, the students of Afghan-Turk high school students protested against the arrival of the ministry’s delegation along with Turkish education representatives.
