Foreign Forces Killed and Wounded 50 Civilian in Kunduz
About 50 civilians were killed and wounded as result of NATO airstrikes in Kunduz province.
“Nearly 50 people were killed and wounded as NATO forces’ airstrikes on Kunduz’s Chahardara district,” Zargul Alemi, the secretary of the provincial council told DID news agency.
“The attacks by foreign forces were conducted due to an information mistake,” Ms. Alemi added.
According to local sources, the civilians were targeted by the foreign forces when Taliban called on them to gather the corpses from the street.
This is not the first time that civilians are targeted by the foreign forces in Kunduz province and other parts of Afghanistan.
